Here you’ll find information about the different options available if you want to eat in Tiveden National Park.
There is no food service in the national park. At the park entrances, there are accessible picnic tables and barbecue sites. There is also an accessible rest area with a barbecue site at Metesjön.
Barbecue Sites and Open Fires
In the national park, you may only light fires and grill at the designated sites, which are marked on the maps. Currently, there are barbecue sites at all entrances, as well as at the rest areas at Metesjön and Käringaudden. Firewood is available and restocked regularly, but if you want to be sure you can make a fire, you should bring your own firewood. An axe and a saw are also available on site.
It is not allowed to use branches or twigs collected from the forest for fires.
