Purpose of the National Park: To preserve a continuous landscape of forests, lakes and cleft valleys in a largely untouched state, where the forest is allowed to develop naturally towards old‑growth conditions.
Area: 2,030 hectares
Nature: Pine forest, spruce forest, mixed coniferous forest, coniferous swamp forest, rock outcrops, lakes and waterways
Landowner: Swedish Environmental Protection Agency (Naturvårdsverket)
