Tiveden National Park

Tiveden offers fascinating nature experiences and a strong sense of wilderness in the area between the cultural landscapes around lakes Vänern and Vättern. Here, in one of southern Sweden’s wildest forests, you can hike through chaotic boulder fields with cliff blocks up to ten metres high, carried here by the inland ice. The park also features many exciting caves and several beautiful wilderness lakes.

More than 770 species of beetles have been recorded in Tiveden National Park.
