Here you’ll find information about toilets, drinking water and other visitor services in Pieljekaise National Park.
There is an overnight cabin along the trail Kungsleden in the national park known as Pieljekaisestugan. It has an open day room where you can take a break. A dry toilet is located near the cabin.
Another dry toilet is found about six kilometres south of Pieljekaisestugan, at the southern boundary of the national park. It is located along the Kungsleden Trail, just south of the bridge at Lake Luvtávrre.
Along the Viejenäsleden Trail, there is a rest cabin with a dry toilet, located about eight kilometres from the trailhead in Viejenäs.
About three kilometres south of Jäckvik along the Kungsleden Trail, close to the national park boundary, there is an open rest cabin with a wood-burning stove.
Fire Pits and Open Fires
You may make a fire in the national park as long as no fire ban is in place.
You are encouraged to bring your own firewood. You may only collect loose, dry branches or twigs from the ground.
In the cabin Pieljekaisestugan, there is a wood-burning stove, and firewood is available in a nearby woodshed.
