Purpose of the National Park: To preserve an area of old‑growth‑like coniferous forest in the southern boreal forest region in its natural state, allowing it to develop freely towards true old‑growth conditions.
Area: 15,340 hectares, of which 14,000 hectares are land
Nature: Deciduous forest, treeless heath, mire, treeless meadow
