Skogavik Croft on Braka

Skogavik is located in the Braka archipelago. The croft sits close to the water with a beautiful view of the sea. There is no electricity on the island. Cooking is done on a modern gas stove with an oven. Perishable food can be stored in a simple cool box (80 litres) powered by solar panels, which can also be used for charging mobile phones. The croft has a wood-burning stove and a kitchen range. A dry toilet is located nearby. The croft has five beds in two rooms and there is a charcoal grill available for use.

Bring your own drinking water. Water from the well can be used for washing up.

A sauna is located between the croft and the jetty. Firewood is stored in the woodshed. You may arrive with your own boat; there is a jetty available. Pets are not allowed.

Hamnskär

This small croft has two beds and is located on the island of Hamnskär in a sheltered bay with its own jetty. There is no electricity on the island. Cooking is done on a simple gas stove. Perishable food can be kept in an 80-litre cool box powered by solar panels, and you can charge your mobile phone. A dry toilet is located in a separate building, and there is a sauna near the boathouse. The croft has a small wood-burning stove, and firewood is available in the woodshed.

Bring your own drinking water. Water from the well can be used for washing up. Pets are not allowed.

You can arrive by your own boat, but note that the bay is shallow. Paddling to Hamnskär is also possible.

Rågskär Croft

This historic archipelago homestead, which is a protected building, consists of two houses with a total of eleven beds. A small dry toilet stands nearby, and a wood-fired sauna is located in a separate building down by the water. There is a sandy beach by the jetties. There is no electricity on the island. Cooking is done on a simple gas stove, and the larger house also has a small oven. Perishable food can be kept in small solar-powered cool boxes (one in each house). Mobile phones can be charged using the solar panels.

Bring your own drinking water. Water from the well can be used for washing up.

Emergency ladders are fitted on both houses. Firewood is stored in the woodshed. Use the stoves with care. Free-roaming sheep and cattle from Östanvik farm on Nämdö graze outside the fenced area around the croft. You may pet the animals if they choose to approach you.
