Whether you want to walk along a marked trail, explore unique landscapes or pause at a viewpoint for a break, the parks offer plenty of ways for you to enjoy nature – from easy walks to scenic lookouts and deeper adventures into the wilderness. 

Activities and sights in the national park

The Skogsslingan trail takes you through several different forest types, including deciduous and coniferous woodland. The trail leads to a small headland with a sandy beach where you can go swimming. Along the trail, you can experience a variety of birdlife. Skogsslingan starts at the Trollberget entrance. From here, the short trail Trollsvansen also begins, leading from the car park to the entrance. The path circles the legendary hill with its small “cave”.

At the Sunnabron entrance, the trail Västra Torpaslingan begins. The path follows the shoreline, passing through swamp forest and beech forest, and continues into the Bjurkärr nature reserve.

The trail Östra Torpaslingan also starts at the Sunnabron entrance and takes you to the remains of Torpet Sundet.
