Åsnen National Park

In Åsnen National Park, you experience a true sense of wilderness, ancient beech forests, and an inland archipelago with everything from large islands to tiny skerries. The area is home to rich plant and animal life. The forest in Bjurkärr, near the Sunnabron entrance, is very old and renowned for its exceptional biodiversity. The mythical Trollberget on the western shore of Lake Åsnen offers exciting forest walks, especially for younger visitors.

Around 75 percent of Åsnen National Park consists of water.
