Vadvetjåkka is located in a roadless area, and no accessibility adaptations have been made.
You need to walk about eleven kilometres from the nearest road and ford watercourses to reach the national park. The national park is surrounded by streams and rivers that you need to wade across to enter the park. At the southern boundary, there are two bridges over larger watercourses just outside the park. The national park has relatively few visitors because it is difficult to access and has high annual precipitation.
The park has no accommodation or other services.
