Naturum – The National Parks’ House – is the main visitor centre for Tyresta. Here, you can get suggestions for hiking routes and learn about what to see and do in the surrounding area. Outside, you’ll find an information square where you can discover more about Tyresta’s unique nature and cultural values.
The building itself is shaped like a map of Sweden, and the exhibition guides you through all of Sweden’s national parks, from the southern coast to the Arctic mountains. In the shop, you can buy maps, souvenirs and books about Tyresta, as well as literature on nature and national parks across Sweden.
Naturum arranges events throughout the year, such as guided walks and school holiday activities. Entry to the naturum is free.
