Staying in the park
Here you’ll find information about accommodation options in and around Töfsingdalen National Park.
There are no cabins, shelters or rest areas in the park. Camping and open fires are prohibited within 300 metres of Lake Töfsingen and 300 metres from the River Storån. In the rest of the park, camping is allowed. Be aware that the rocky terrain can make it difficult to find a good tent pitch.
Outside the park, on the opposite side of the River Storån, there are suitable places where camping is allowed. These areas are located near the Hävlingestugorna cabins and next to the rest areas with shelters along the river.
Cabins Outside the Park
The nearest accommodation is at Hävlingestugorna. A cabin host is on site from late February to mid-April and from late June to the first week of September. There is also a hostel cabin with eight beds, which is open all year round.
The rental cabins Töfsinghån and Spångkojan are located a few kilometres south of the park. These cabins can be booked throughout the year.
The County Administrative Board of Dalarna provides more information about booking the cabins.
