Getting here

Here you’ll find information on how to get to Stenshuvud National Park. 

Stenshuvud National Park is located just south of Kivik. The distance from Simrishamn to Stenshuvud is about 18 kilometres, and from Malmö it is about 95 kilometres.

From Road 9, there are signposts to the main entrance, where you will also find the naturum visitor centre. From Kivik, there are signposts to the northern entrance.

By public transport

You can travel to Stenshuvud National Park by bus. Take Skåneexpressen line 3, which runs between Simrishamn and Kristianstad.

From the bus stop "Mellby skola", it is approximately a three-kilometre walk.  

Walking directions from the bus stop

  • Walk 100 metres south.
  • Turn left by the red wooden fence and follow the road up towards Svinaberga.
  • At the T‑junction, turn right.
  • At Svabesholm Kungsgård, turn left into the farm area.
  • Continue straight ahead (east) for about two kilometres.
  • The national park is at the end of the road.
