There is a lot to discover in Sweden’s national parks. You’ll find activities and sights that suit visitors of all ages.

Activities and sights in the national park
The mountain Stenshuvud gives the national park its name. The mountain rises to 97 metres at its highest point and has three viewpoints, each offering different coastal vistas.
On the rocky shore at the base of Stenshuvud, you will find the lighthouse. It was built in the early 1900s and has always been unmanned.
The sandy beach in Stenshuvud National Park is popular, especially in summer. The fine sand “squeaks” underfoot as you walk. It is about 500 metres from the main entrance down to the sea.
In the southern part of Stenshuvud National Park lies the sand heath, a now very rare habitat. Here, the ground consists almost entirely of sand.
There are several hiking trails in Stenshuvud National Park. The blue trail is an easy walk that leads you down to the sea and starts and ends at Naturum Stenshuvud. The red trail is the classic Stenshuvud hike, taking you up to the top of Stenshuvud. The green trail starts at the northern entrance and takes you around the arboretum, where ramsons bloom in large carpets in May beneath the exotic trees. A section of Skåneleden also passes through Stenshuvud National Park.
