Here you’ll find information about accommodation options in and around Sonfjället National Park.
It is allowed to camp in Sonfjället National Park, but the terrain on the bare mountain is usually too rocky to find a good spot for a tent. In the surrounding mountain forest, it is easier to find suitable spots for camping.
Accommodation Near the Park
Nysäterns Fjällgård offers modern cabins equipped with WC/shower, fridge and freezer, engine heaters and other amenities.
Simpler cabins are available for rent at the Nyvallen entrance.
In Hedeviken, there is a campsite with cabins for rent.
In the village of Hede, you will find accommodation at Sonfjällsgården, and cabins are available at Hede Camping. There are also cabins for rent at Oltjärns Stugby, located a few kilometres southeast of central Hede.
Boka Härjedalen arranges the rental of private cabins.
