Activities and sights in the national park

The most popular destination in Skuleskogen is Slåttdalsskrevan, a 200‑metre‑long, 30‑metre‑deep and seven‑metre‑wide crevice that splits Slåttdalsberget in two. From the top of Slåttdalsberget you have a view over Skuleskogen and the rest of Höga Kusten. Slåttdalsberget and the legendary crevice lie in the middle of the national park. It is a nice day trip where you experience many of the characteristic features of the national park.

From the mountain Långtjärnshällorna you also get a fantastic view over Höga Kusten and large parts of the national park.

From Entré Väst there is an accessible path leading to the viewing deck on the mountain Nylandsruten. In clear weather you have an extensive view over the landscape.

Along the coast between the two entrances South and North runs the hiking trail Kuststigen. You can hike to Tärnettholmarna from both the southern and the northern entrance of the national park.
