Fallen trunks, massive boulders and towering trees give the area a wilderness feel, even if on a smaller scale. In the park you’ll find two forest lakes, Stora and Lilla Idegölen, with water lilies and buckbean. Look forward to an exciting walk among moss‑covered boulders and enchanted forest pools, and enjoy the beautiful view from the national park’s highest point, Idhöjden.

Some of the pines in the area are more than 350 years old.
