Here you’ll find information on how to get to Nämdöskärgården National Park.
The main entrance to the national park is located on Bullerö. There are several natural harbours where you can anchor if you arrive with your own boat. You can also travel to Bullerö by passenger boat or boat taxi.
Passenger boats also stop at several of the other islands within the national park. All boat routes depart from Stavsnäs Winter Harbour, which is also the departure point for the boat taxis.
Travelling by passenger boat
You can travel on the Bullerö Line (Bullerölinjen) to the main entrance on Bullerö from May until early October.
If you want to reach the overnight cottages on Braka or Hamnskär, you can reserve a seat on the Nämdö Line (Nämdölinjen).
To reach the cottage on Rågskär, you can travel on the Runmarö Line (Runmarölinjen).
The routes are operated by Stavsnäs båttaxi. Their website provides up-to-date timetables, booking information and details on accessibility for wheelchairs, pushchairs and more.
Travelling by boat taxi
You can book a boat taxi to reach the islands in the national park. Several companies in the area offer this service. Some islands have jetties, but in most cases the boat will land directly on the rocks.
