Nämdöskärgården National Park

Sit down and take in the view of the archipelago. See the islands, the water and, in the distance, the horizon. You might spot a white‑tailed eagle soaring above, or a pair of swans resting in a sheltered bay. Look beneath the surface of the Baltic Sea’s brackish water. On the shallow seabeds of the bays, or on the deeper mussel beds, you’ll discover another world full of life.

Ninety‑seven percent of the national park’s area is sea.
