You can reach Kosterhavet National Park by taking the Koster Boats, which operate from Strömstad all year round. The journey takes about 45 minutes. You can travel to Strömstad by car via the E6, or by train or bus.
You can also enjoy beautiful views of the Kosterhavet area from Resö, Rossö, Tjärnö and Saltö. These places are connected by road, and you can reach them either by car or by public transport.

Entrances to the national park
There are several entrances to Kosterhavet National Park. Some entrances have staffed information centres, while others only have signs with varying amounts of information.
The main entrance to the national park is located at naturum visitor centre beside Ekenäs jetty on South Koster (Sydkoster). Naturum is staffed for most of the year.
Other entrances are in Strömstad, on Saltö, Rossö and Resö. At the Rossö entrance, there is an exhibition about Kosterhavet’s rich marine life and coastal environments.
All entrances are accessible for wheelchair users. All entrances can also be reached by car, except the entrance at naturum.
