Getting here

Here you’ll find information on how to get to Fulufjället National Park.

The main entrance to Fulufjället National Park – Njupeskär Entrance – is located about 25 kilometres west of the village of Särna. This is the best starting point if you want to visit Njupeskär, Sweden’s highest waterfall, or explore some of the park’s most popular trails.

By car

From Särna, follow the national road 70 northwards. After four kilometres, turn left towards Mörkret and Gördalen. When you reach Mörkret, simply follow the signs for Fulufjällets nationalpark. The road is clearly marked all the way to the main visitor area.

By public transport

If you prefer to travel by public transport, you first need to get to Särna. From there, you can book Flextrafik line 785, which takes you directly to the national park..

Entrances from Norway

Fulufjället National Park borders Fulufjellet National Park in Norway. From the Norwegian side, you can enter the area through two marked entrances:

  • Storbekkåsen
  • Bråtafallet

These entrances make it easy to combine your visit with experiences on both sides of the border.
