Getting here

Here you’ll find information on how to get to Djurö National Park.

You can reach Djurö National Park with your own boat. On the northern and western sides of the island, there are several places where you can land. The national park has four official entrances, each with a jetty where you can moor or disembark.

The main entrance is Malbergs hamn, which has the park’s largest landing jetty. There are also low landing jetties at Tribergs ö, Långön and Dunderkarlarna.

In addition to the official entrances, there is another landing jetty called Noludden, located on the northern part of the island.

The eastern side of the national park is shallow and is therefore not suitable for landing.

Bird protection area

On the eastern and southern sides of the island, there are bird protection areas where access is prohibited from 1 April to 31 July.

Weather conditions

Boat trips to the national park are highly dependent on weather conditions. During late autumn, winter and early spring, you should take extra care and check the weather forecast before travelling.

Travel by taxi boat

There is no scheduled boat service to Djurö National Park, but several operators offer taxi boat services to the island.
