Djurö National Park

The Djurö archipelago lies in Lake Vänern and consists of around thirty islands and skerries. No other archipelago in Sweden is as remote, and it is this sense of solitude that makes the area so captivating. The islands’ smooth, wave‑washed rocks, shingle beaches and rich birdlife are all characteristic features of Sweden’s inland lake nature.
