You can reach Blå Jungfrun National Park either by tour boat or by your own boat. During the summer season – from late June to mid‑August – tour boats operate daily.
There are three landing sites on the island, which also serve as the park’s three entrances:
- Lervik (the most commonly used landing point)
- Sikhamn
- Nedre Västra Stenbrottet
The landing site used for your visit depends on wind direction. The circular hiking trail around the island passes all three landing sites.
By tour boat
Boat tours to Blå Jungfrun are operated by Solkustturer. Departures leave from:
- Öland Quay in Oskarshamn on the mainland
- Södra Piren in Byxelkrok harbour on Öland
Solkustturer also operates occasional departures in late spring and early autumn.
For current timetables and booking information, visit their website.

Arriving with your own boat
If you arrive with your own boat, it’s a good idea to contact the guides on the island for advice on the safest landing site. Please remember that tour boats always have priority at the park’s entrances.
It is not permitted to moor private boats at the natural harbours Lervik, Sikhamn or Nedre Västra Stenbrottet.
