Activities and sights in the national park
The famous Kungsleden (the King’s Trail) begins in Abisko National Park and continues south through the park’s spectacular mountain landscape. You will also find many other beautiful trails here, suitable for both summer hiking and winter activities.
The national park is also an excellent place to experience the Northern Lights, and several local tour providers offer tours where you can learn more about this natural phenomenon. You can also try dog sledding or join guided walks to explore the Arctic landscape in a safe and memorable way.
Naturum Abisko
At the visitor centre Naturum Abisko, you can explore a permanent exhibition that introduces you to the plants, wildlife, geology and cultural history of Abisko National Park.
